From the Manufacturer
Do yourself a favor and stop swinging that hammer in tight spaces. The small but powerful GRTMP16 will reach almost anywhere and drives up to a 3-1/2-Inch 16d nail. It features a magnetic nose to hold the fastener in place and allow users a free hand while working. When the engineers at Grip-Rite asked professionals how to improve their palm-sized air nailers, they all said the same thing. They wanted a smaller tool. So, Grip-Rite created a tool that fits the most common applications at a third of the size and weight. After one use, you will wonder how you ever lived without this innovative tool. The Grip Rite Mini Palm Nailer is a fraction of the size and weight of a regular palm nailer, yet still stands up to professional use. The tool is designed to handle a vast majority of applications without the added bulk and weight of other palm sized air nailers. Grip-Rite stands behind all of their products with a network of service centers and a 12-month warranty. Also included with the purchase of this tool: All Required Hex Wrenches, Tool Oil and a Male Air Plug.

It makes driving 16 penny framing nails a cinch, particularly in places where using a hammer is awkward. From a layperson's standpoint, this is a great choice for driving nails without shelling out the big bucks for a framing nailer. It fits in your tool box, costs about the same as a high quality framing hammer, and takes a lot of the work out of driving nails. I built 2 walls and a door frame and header in my basement with this little tool and it made a pain in the neck job a piece of cake.
For the price it's almost disposable compared to a real framing nailer, but it's built well enough that for small jobs around the house you will probably never need to replace it.
It was nice that they included a bottle of air tool oil in the package as well.
My hand is not that big and this tool is perfectly right for me. The grip is easy and convinient and the weight is awesomely LIGHT! Though this thing is small, The power is HUGE! It could drive a 6 inch nail on a 2x4 Lumber so easy as long as the head fits its bore. so pwerful that I used this thing in building my fence instead of my nail gun. I preferred to used this Toy than the bostitch palm nailer due to its weight and nailing pressure. You don't need to press this little monster too deep in order to drive a nail unlike bostitch. the power is pretty much the same and the convinience is extremely an advantage compared to my muscle building framing nailer.
Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves carpentry and woodwoking. I'm not a PRO but this Toy makes me look like one!
Everyone is different. people have varied views and opinion. But the only way I could prove to you that my review is true and real is if you buy this product...pretty much you won't regret!
UPDATE: I have now had this product for a small amount of time, and had some small problems with it.
It started leaking air. I removed the quick disconnect and put some teflon tape on it; still leaking. I removed the teflon tape and used rectorseal; still leaking. Come to find it out it was actually leaking through the back(go figure). I snugged up the back with an allen wrench and it is now fine. The item was not dropped or abused, though it was used.
The first time I used this I almost put a nail through my hand, but that is a good thing; let me explain.
I thought this would work "OK", so the first time I used it just for fun. I had my hand on the other side of the 2x6, and tat-tat-tat all the sudden the nail came through the board several inches from my hand. I was amazed at how quickly it sunk the nail, a 16d went through a single 2x like butter.
I thought I would use this sometimes, but find I'm using it very frequently. It's great for putting nails in straps, especially if the strap is hard to reach or in an inconvenient place.
I am amazed that Framers throughout the U.S are making their poor helpers tap hurricane ties in place in small niches with a hammer.
They would save money by buying this for their helpers, the hurricane ties would be up much quicker saving labor costs.
If you have a compressor and do construction, you should own this.
The only downside? A boss can't yell, "What are you doing up there turtle having a tea party? Those straps aren't nailing themselves..." etc.
